May handle figures show drop compared to April as schedule slows

With regulator reports in from all but Illinois, Arizona, Virginia and Delaware, May has shaped up as expected, with handle down 11% from April in like states. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Louisiana and Iowa all saw declines of 14% or more. New York was down 9%. Nevada held up best among the busier states with a drop of 4%.

The usual summer swoon approaches.
