Broncos' Russell Wilson tops in NFL jersey sales for '22

NFL Shop this week announced its top 10 best-selling jerseys of 2022, and new Broncos QB Russell Wilson has the "No. 1 jersey on the market," according to Jordan Dajani of It is “no wonder why” Wilson tops the charts, as the Broncos have been “looking for a franchise quarterback since the Peyton Manning days.” Where it stands, eight of the top 10 "hottest jerseys on the market are quarterbacks," while the "other two are wide receivers." Additionally, eight of the top 10 best-selling jerseys “come from the AFC.” Three players in the top four are “either playing for new teams, or a newcomer to the NFL.” That newcomer is Steelers rookie QB Kenny Pickett (, 6/30). Bills QB Josh Allen ranks No. 2 on the list, and the BUFFALO NEWS notes one will see Allen jerseys "virtually everywhere you go in Western New York, but Allen's popularity is not just a local phenomenon." Allen "topped all NFL players in jersey sales heading into Week 1 of last season," followed by Patriots QB Mac Jones and Buccaneers QB Tom Brady (BUFFALO NEWS, 7/1).
