President, National Society of Black Sports Professionals

Wimbish co-founded the BSP in 2006 while working for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He serves as national president and has been president of the Cleveland and Columbus chapters. With 18 chapters, the group’s mission is to accelerate the advancement, retention and positive impact of Black professionals in the sports and entertainment business. BSP has teamed with organizations such as Color of Sports to quantify and profile Black professionals’ experiences in sports business and with Diverse Representation to launch the Sports Executive Pipeline Program, providing mentorship and coaching in an effort to increase diversity in team and league leadership. Wimbish also is vice president at Anomaly Sports Group and marketing manager for the sports law practice at Porter Wright.
