Spacestation Gaming launches new energy drink with Bucked Up

By Kevin Hitt
Spacestation

North American esports organization Spacestation Gaming has partnered with fitness supplement company Bucked Up to launch a new energy drink, Big Game Energy. The brand is loosely based on Bucked Up’s fitness pre-workout supplements. The new energy drink will be sold online and will also be available at Walmart throughout the United States.

This launch comes at an interesting time, as another energy drink brand, G Fuel, announced a scaling back of operations after a controversy surfaced in which a company executive was heard using a racial slur during a meeting. According to reports, after numerous staffers sent emails to HR about the use of the slur, at least seven were terminated within a couple of days.

Spacestation Gaming fields teams in over seven esports titles, including Rocket League, Halo Infinite, and Apex Legends. This partnership adds to an already extensive portfolio of partner brands such as SteelSeries, Scuf, Xidax, and Oats Over Night.
