Executive Transactions hired former StubHub North America GM AKSHAY KHANNA for the role of North America CEO. The U.K.-based site launched in '18 and has 40 employees in Europe, where online lottery tickets sales are an established business. Khanna will be the company's first employee in the U.S., where 15 states have legalized the online sale of lottery tickets. Khanna is a member of SBJ's Forty Under 40 class of '20 (Bret McCormick, SBJ).

Hornets GM MITCH KUPCHAK has signed a "multiyear contract extension," but he "would not say when the contract expires." The original contract was "set to expire this summer" (AP, 5/19).

Greensboro Sports Foundation Exec Dir ROB GOODMAN is "stepping down from the position effective June 30," in order to "resume full operations of 3-G Sports," the company he founded in '04. He has been with the GSF since its inception in '18. The exec committee is "in the process of planning its next steps regarding staffing and strategy and will announce those plans in the next few weeks" (, 5/20).
