NBA has best conference semifinal round viewership since '13

The NBA averaged 4.91 million viewers for the second round of the playoffs, marking the best conference semifinals since ’13 (4.99 million). The second round across ABC, ESPN and TNT (26 games) was up 19% from last season’s 4.13 million viewers. Sunday afternoon’s Celtics-Bucks Game 7 drew 7.48 million viewers on ABC, up big from the last time ABC had a second round Game 7 back in ’19 (Trail Blazers-Nuggets with 6.34 million in the same window). Celtics-Bucks is the best audience for any Eastern Conference semifinal game since '12. On Sunday night, TNT drew 6.29 million viewers for the Mavericks’ blowout of the Suns in Game 7, up from the 6.16 million viewers that the comparable Hawks-76ers Game 7 drew on the network last year in the same time slot.
