Michael Tatz is the Co-founder and President of Resilience CBD, a premium line of CBD products designed specifically for athlete. Michael has grown Resilience from an idea into a business that has generated multi-millions of dollars. The inspiration for Resilience came after Mike and his cofounder, a former Navy SEAL, personally benefitted from using CBD to overcome their own mental and physical challenges after serving in the military. Resilience’s mission is to change the lives and increase the performance of athletes, Veterans, and people everywhere.
Prior to co-founding Resilience CBD, Michael held various roles in the sports and entertainment industry, including serving as the Managing Director of The Audible Group (TAG) and as the Chief Operating Officer of Direct Sports Network. Earlier in his career, Michael was an investment advisor for Goldman Sachs, managing investment assets in excess of $1 billion for families and foundations across the country.
A Chicago native, Michael left the windy city to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point where he was a four year member of Army’s nationally ranked wrestling team. After graduating from the Academy, Michael serviced as an Air Defense Artillery officer and ended his military career serving at U.S. Strategic Command/NORAD.
Michael earned his MBA from Rice University. During his time at Rice, Michael founded and served as the President of the Veteran Business Battle, a non-profit organization that has went on to provide millions of dollars of funding to Veteran entrepreneurs. Michael currently lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Shannon, and their two children.
