Dan Porter

Co-Founder & CEO, Overtime

Dan Porter has built companies in gaming, education, media and marketplaces over the course of his career and has generated a quarter billion dollars worth of exits for investors and employees. 

Porter is the CEO and co-founder of Overtime, leading brand for the next generation of sports fans with more followers and video views than any domestic sports team. As such, Overtime has proven that it truly sports for the next generation of fans. 

Previously, Porter served as Head of Digital at William Morris Endeavor (WME) where he built out the company's digital and social media businesses. While at WME, Porter oversaw digital talent, launched their efforts into eSports, debuted an OTT service, and created the WME Ventures Fund in which he oversaw investments in companies like Glossier, Splice and Masterclass.

Before founding Overtime, Porter founded and led numerous startups including OMGPOP, a gaming company that sold for $200MM and TicketWeb, a ticketing company that sold for $40MM. Porter was also the creator of Draw Something, a mobile gaming app which was downloaded 250 million times. 

Porter graduated from Princeton University and has a master’s degree from New York University.
