Ian Campbell is Director, Club Services at Major League Soccer (MLS) where he works with all MLS clubs to improve their business operations with a focus on ticketing. Over the past nine years, Campbell has helped transform MLS into a data driven and insight lead organization, developing the League’s ticket reporting and analytical capabilities while working closely with MLS Planning and Analytics on key projects in the areas of ticketing and fan development. As the strategic ticketing lead for MLS, he also played a leading role in selecting the League’s first official ticketing partner and oversees the innovative partnership with SeatGeek.
Prior to joining MLS, Campbell earned his MBA from the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon after six years at the Chicago Board of Trade where he worked as a fixed income trader. Campbell resides in New York City with his wife Naomi and works out of the MLS League Office in Manhattan.
